Strengthening emergency healthcare delivery across Assam, Hon’ble Health & Family Welfare Minister Shri Ashok Singhal today flagged off 82 new 108 Ambulance at Gauhati Medical College & Hospital. Present on the occasion were Dr. P Ashok Babu, IAS, Commissioner & Secretary - Health, Dr. Lakshmanan S, IAS, Mission Director, NHM Assam, Dr. Manoj Kr Choudhury, DME & Addl MD, NHM Assam, Smt. Lakhimi Dutta, ACS, OSD NHM Assam and senior officials of NHM Assam and Health Department.

 

This major addition will boost the state’s overall healthcare response system, ensuring faster and more accessible life-saving services for citizens. This will further reinforce NHM Assam’s commitment to making quality emergency healthcare accessible when it matters most.
