Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Programme in Assam

The Hemo-Dialysis Centres under Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Programme has been implemented in Assam in Public Private Partnership mode. M/s Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited, Chennai has been chosen through detailed selection process by National Health Mission, Assam to implement the Dialysis Programme in Assam.

 First dialysis session in Assam was conducted successfully at Swahid Mukanda Kakati Civil Hospital, Nalbari in presence of Consultant Nephrologist and Medical Superintendent on 4^th June 2019. After that, the Programme was formally launched on 14^th June 2019 by the Hon’ble Minister, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Assam on 14^th June 2019 at SMK Civil Hospital, Nalbari.

At present, Hemo-Dialysis services are provided free of cost at 20 Public Health Institutions across Assam

11. Civil Hospital, North Lakhimpur

13. 200 Bedded Civil Hospital, Goalpara
