• As per provision of the Right to Information Act. 2005, National Health Mission is also a Public Authority u/s 5(1) of the Act. Accordingly, the provisions of the RTI Act are implemented by this Public Authority.
• In pursuance of Right to information Act-2005, Section 5(1) following officers are hereby designated for performing the duties shown against the names in connection with Right to Information Act, 2005 for the cases concerned with NHM, Assam directorate

• The Consultant/ Heads of all component of NHM Assam at the State Head Quarter and the District Programme Manager in the District is Public Information Officer (PIO).

• Requested information which is not connected with public authority is transferred to the public authority holding the information and connected with it as per provision of the RTI Act 2005.
